2007 Sailing Season and Onward

6/21-22/07: Depart Shipyard Quarters Marina with Morli and Larry to Gallops Island mooring. Saw Brazilian Tall Ship Cisne Branco (White Swan) at anchor in the harbor. Barbeque dinner. Left mid-morning sailing to Gloucester with only mizzen, staysail and jib getting up to 8 kts at times. Hailstorm as we toured the inner harbor before anchoring off Peter's dock. Nice visit from Peter and Joe and Steve on a blustery afternoon. Bess and Keith joined us in time for dinner. Felt a bit like October instead of June yet Keith, Bess and Chris all went swimming before inaugurating our new power blender with a double round of margueritas. Thanks Bess and Keith! Ming's hand-crank version now becomes the back-up blender for those who like a work out.
