8/17-18/07: Another pleasant evening's sail. Took advantage of the high tide to go behind Spectacle Island (note the unusual photo angles obtained). Tom came out on his Mako to join us for dinner and the night aboard Wuling at Gallops Island. We were soon surrounded by the Harvey Gamage, Westward and Spirit of Massachusetts for a picturesque if windy and chilly evening. Tom left after a leisurely breakfast and with gusts to 40 kts we were sailing at 6 kts plus with only the mizzen and a smidge of jib on a very windy Saturday morning return to Shipyard Quarters Marina in Boston Harbor.
Tuesday, August 21st --
Mom and Brotherhood of the Coast friends, Tony and Jane, came to visit Ling, Ping and Chris for a tour
of Boston Harbor and dinner at Tavern on the Water.
