Bess and Keith depart by launch for their Sunday in Provincetown as Ling, Chris and Ping head out to sail on the predicted
westerlies up to Gloucester. Alas, those westerlies did not materialize and we mostly motored/motor-sailed our way North. The
plus was seeing many right whales along the way. "Spout", "Tail", "Body", "Triple spout", etc, were among the many calls of the cool,
sunshiney day. Other entertainment included almost catching birds on the fishing lines and listening to Tall Ship captains on the
VHF. Arrived and anchored at Eastern Pt, Gloucester, MA., in the early evening with a warm dinner in the oven. Nice to see Peter's
Footloose on her mooring. Woke up Monday morning to find the Nathanial Bowditch anchored beside us. After breakfast, Chris and Ping
kayak in the 4-2 to check out the Tall Ships in Gloucester's inner harbor before weighing anchor Monday afternoon.
