Chris, Ling and Ping aboard Wuling sail from just off the dock out to Long Island where we are the first to pick up a mooring. Water Music arrives with Cathy and Shawn while Ling and Chris examine Wuling's wind point. The two P26's, Crab Louie under power with Bob and Sheila aboard and Miss Understanding under sail with Mike, Margaret, Joy and Jon, arrive together. Quite the festive BHIP gathering! Miss Understanding leaves in the dark of night after our feast but after a good night's rest the remaining crews muster aboard Water Music for a wonderful, relaxed Sunday Brunch cooked by Sheila and Cathy. Wuling follows Water Music (Cathy, Shawn, Bob, Sheila) out Nantasket Roads for a gentle afternoon sail around Boston Light and the Graves returning via Broad Sound; finally gave up beating on flukey winds at the World Trade Center and motored in to the dock in plenty of time for the Jackson Browne concert.
