Wuling Spring Prep in Boston, MA.
May, 2011
Arrived back from Europe to hear that we had to move Wuling off her summer dock so they could do repairs. On May 20th, Ling did
a fine job of getting her positioned right in front of the condo where she stayed for the week! Finally with power and water
supply we could get her cleaned up for the season.
After bending on the remaining sails Friday, May 27th, Ling, Chris and Ping
took her out for her first overnight of the season. We headed to Peddocks and anchored since there were no moorings. Had
a great sail after clearing the inner harbor and a relatively peaceful, chilly night. On Saturday morning we worked on Wuling
while waiting for the fog to lift which it refused to do. At least we got to test the radar on our return trip. And, of course
the fog cleared as we got to Castle Island. Back at her summer slip Wuling is joined by Ironwood and World Headquarters. And,
summer has finally begun!
