Wuling to the North Shore for the Blackburn Challenge

The Wuling crew departs on Friday on a light breeze, long sail up to Gloucester, MA, where we anchor off Stage Fort Park. On Saturday, we watched the Blackburn Challenge from the Wuling before kayaking to shore to meet up with Dana, Maggie, Joe and Jeff. Dana medalled again, this time on a surf ski! Enjoyed lunch at the Cape Ann Brewing Company before a walk along the Gloucester waterfront. By mid-afternoon we were sailing for West Beach in Beverly Farms, MA, where we anchored overnight. Betsy, Alex and Sam joined us Sunday for an upwind motor to George's Island where we all jumped in for a swim before the wind came up and a nice sail back into Boston Harbor.
