Wuling to Buzzard's Bay

Ling, Chris and Ping pick up a mooring off George's Island on Thursday evening after a pleasant sail out from SQM. Early Friday we sail southwards but the breeze takes us to the Cape Cod Canal instead of Wellfleet so we anchor overnight in Onset, MA. We are at Hadley's Harbor by early afternoon, anchored in our favorite location just inside the inner harbor. Kayaking and swimming and boat maintenance take up the afternoon. Sunday morning's adventurous kayak trip has us drop over a foot in water level through the sluice and then paddling back through Woods' Hole against the current! More adventurous travels on the spirited sail with the wind and against the current back to Onset later in the day. Monday is another early morning and after Ling catches a huge bluefish (30"!!) we decide to sail all the way back to the dock so we can share fresh fish with Mommy ashore.
